The questions are trying to cover a range of issues, such as:
  • Do elderly people consider a mobile phone having any benefit to them
  • What the problems with their current phone are
  • What the problems with the usage of the phone are such as, leaving it off, not charging it, not taking it with them.
  • How frequently they use their phone
Lots of the questions are geared towards their attitudes towards mobile phones (technology in general), as well as the difficulties they have using them. As I feel that their attitude towards technology is just as important as any health issues that prevent them using a mobile phone as successfully as the younger generation.

Thats really good and also it is worded well to enable the reader to understand i.e. with no less that or equal to signs. I feel it tackles the attitude and also the health/ability issues but I think more points can be added such as for marketability of the product. Get into the minds of the person to see what they read and how they would come across the phone. Its all well and good making this design but to where shall we premote it and via which medium? Also to decide once we have collected some other models on the market to see if their characteristics can shed some more light on what has already been developed and rejected by this sector of society. This may include aethestics and information blurb.

i think this is a good question that has been missed:

If you struggle with a new technology (phone/TV/Computer) do you find yourself giving up?
